About U.S. Gym

U.S. Gym is owned and operated by Michele and João Ribeiro. João was a member of the 1980 Brazilian Olympic Team. Michele is a degreed accountant and has been a successful business owner over 19 years. At U.S. Gym, our philosophy is to teach the foundation of the sport of gymnastics, in a fun and exciting environment. We strive to properly instruct each student in the basic skills, and work each individual to his/her potential; most importantly in a safe environment. We feel that gymnastics is a stepping stone for all sports. The skills that your child will practice here will carry over to many activities.

Students work on various aspects of physical, mental and social development, while having fun. They will develop self-discipline and confidence. Skills that develop strength, flexibility, balance, gross and fine motor coordination, agility, as well as socialization and self esteem, are taught in all classes.

We have always been proud of our staff, which includes former Olympic athletes and coaches. All of our staff members are well trained and experienced.
